Youth Sports

Looking for adult sports?

When kids play sports, they get more than just exercise.  Besides being physically healthier, they have higher self esteem and a healthier body image.  The benefits of playing sports go far beyond the physical.  Kids who play sports perform better in school, develop better interpersonal skills and work better in groups.

YMCA Youth Sports places a priority on family involvement and healthy competition rather than rivalry.  They teach the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others.

Love Sports? Become a Youth Sports Volunteer Coach!  We are always in need of great coaches willing to make a difference in the lives of today’s youth.  Your time is our most valuable asset.  Volunteer coaches lead players through drills and games that build skills, develop coordination and enhance a love of the game.
