Family Time

Family Fun Nights

Spend some quality family time playing games and having fun.  Check for family events at the Membership Desk.

Family Fitness Classes

Families with kids 9 & up exercise together in the Comfort Zone.  Cardio/Strength work out uses machines such as bikes, recumbent steppers, treadmills and strength machines.  Classes are one hour long and registration is required.  Schedule available here.

Health Education

CPR/AED And First Aid Certification Classes

The American Safety and Health Institute CPR/AED and first aid certification classes are available to individuals who have never been certified or whose certification has expired.  Classes offered throughout the year. Lifeguard Course

Kelly clip boardThis certification course is designed to give participants basic skills and knowledge to be a lifeguard in the pool, lake, river, surf and waterparks. This comprehensive course offers up-to-date information on how to guard, anticipate and prevent problems and take action to help those in danger.Participants must be 16 years old before the completion of the course.  Get more information here.  Register Online>>

YMCA Aquatic Safety Assistance (YASA)

This certification course is designed to prepare participants with the skills and knowledge needed to recognize aquatic risks and assist a lifeguard in the emergency response of an accident or injury. Minimum age: 14 years and must be able to swim 100 yards and tread water 2 minutes, legs only.   Get more information here.  Register Online>>

YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor Course

This certification course gives new instructors the basics for teaching swim lessons that are student centered, value oriented, safe and effective. Participants must be 16 years old at the time of registration. Get more information here.

Health, Well-being & Fitness

Wellness Center & Program Orientation

Included in your Y membership is a one-on-one appointment with Y staff.  Y staff will demonstrate proper use of the cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, orientate you to the free weight room and/or group exercise classes. Contact the Membership Desk to schedule your orientation.

Personal Training

This YMCA program is designed to match you with a Personal Trainer who will develop a wellness routine to help you stay motivated and provide you with a workout designed for you to meet your personal wellness goals. Click Here>> for more information!

Basic & Brief

A beginner circuit workout designed especially for beginners in our comfort zone. Class meets twice a week for 4 weeks.  Schedules available at Front Desk or Click Here>>

Cardio Circuit

This class is designed for beginners and returning exercisers.  It blends cardio, strength and flexibility to complete the circuit + YMCA relationship building.

X-Bike Cycling

An indoor group cycling class with spirited instruction and music! Designed for all fitness levels. Reach your goals and enjoy the ride with a group while working at your own pace and intensity level. A challenge for the body-a ride for the mind!  Schedules available at Front Desk or Click Here>>

Boot Camp

An intense military style workout. 60 minutes of grueling instruction on abdominal and calisthenics work. Plus stair runs, “dock” runs, track running with sprints and intervals of pull ups and dips. Group Fitness Classes

Active Older Adult Fitness

The SilverSneaker Fitness Program

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance and a chair is used for seated and /or standing support.   Your SilverSneakers membership is offered to you at little or no cost through your health plan.  Learn more at  Schedules available at Front Desk or Click Here>>

Silver & Fit Fitness Program

The County Y is a participating fitness facility in the Silver & Fit Fitness Program – a program designed to help older adults achieve better health through regular exercise and health education.  Silver & Fit provides eligible members with no-cost or low cost fitness memberships through arrangements with certain health plans.  Water Fitness For Older Adults

Youth Sports Programs

Boy with footballYMCA youth sports encourage and promote healthy kids and families by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others.  Parents can contribute by becoming volunteer coaches – as well as their kid’s greatest fan.  Click here for youth sports program offerings.

Adult Co-Ed Basketball League

Round up the guys and gals you’ve been friends with for years – or grab some co-workers for out-of-the-office bonding time! The Adult Co-Ed league is played with a 4-on-4 style and always gets a good sweat going. The maximum number of players allowed per team is eight.  Cost: Y members $15/non-members $45.  Get more information here.

Adult Pickleball Courts

Pickleball is a racket sport which combines elements of badmitton, tennis, and table tennis.  Fun for all ages. Open Pickleball courts 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.  Tuesdays & Thursdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Don’t worry about a partner.  We partner as we play.  We  have paddles or you can bring your own.
