REQUIREMENTS
Competitive swim league open to children age 6 and older – Guppy level and above. 

Swimmer must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards) backstroke and

freestyle without assistance and in fair form.

COACHING STAFF
Jim Johannes will be returning for his fourth year as Head Coach this season. 
Assistant coaches will be helping Coach Johannes during practices and meets.

TEAM SUITS
Team suits will be available to try on during Try Out nights.  Orders will be taken at that time.  Payment is due with order.

PRACTICES
Practices are held Mondays through Thursdays at Harbor Creek High School.
6:30 –7:30pm (10 years and younger) and 7:30 – 8:30pm (11 years and older) beginning October 2^nd.  All home meets are held at the Harbor Creek High School facility.

TEAM FEES
YMCA membership plus … $130 first child;
$100 for each additional family swimmer; $60 varsity. 
National standards and league by-laws dictate that a swimmer must be a full member
of the YMCA of Greater Erie in order to participate on the swim team.

Everybody swims … everybody wins!  The YMCA offers financial assistance towards membership to those who qualify.  You may inquire at the Front Desk.

SEASON
Season runs October through April.  A detailed schedule will be available with registration.
