If Die and Stressed are not the way you are looking to experience life, then the very notion of “losing weight quickly” needs to be put aside for a new approach.

Have you gotten to the point that you are desperately searching for a weight loss answer?  Here are a few tips to guide you in your quest:

  1. Know that you are not alone!

In fact, 89 percent of American women are unhappy with their current weight, and 39 percent say worrying about the number on the scale or what goes into their mouth interferes with their happiness, according to research presented by happiness app Happify.

  1. Your hips, your thighs…have they got you hypnotized?

The most success you can achieve in losing weight quickly is by lightening the load you’re carrying in your head.  Negative self-talk does nothing but open the door to a self-fulfilling prophecy.  As you think you are, you are.  So ask yourself, “Who do I want to be?” and be it!  Want to be thinner, think thinner.   Sound crazy?  If you’re desperate enough to want to lose weight quickly, isn’t it worth a try?

 3. Say “Cheese” J

Want to lose weight to feel beautiful? Mother Teresa said, “Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing”.  Now that is beauty – no matter what it number says on the scale!

  1. Go Au Naturale

I’m not talking about dropping your clothes & hitting a nude beach!  I’m talking about dropping processed foods.   Try swapping out one processed food for a natural choice.  Try switching water for pop, fruit for candy, vegetables for chips.  We’ve all tried the crazy meal plans out there, this time just consider making simple changes of simple foods.

  1. Get off the hamster wheel

Sure I’d like to tell you to join the Y and jump on a treadmill, but I’m suggesting first you jump off the bigger wheel, the all-or-nothing wheel!  It’s the trigger wheel that spins inside you when you become discouraged.  It could be you decided to start walking, one day it storms, then the walking shoes are retired.  It’s the circle that starts with eating a piece of chocolate and ends with an entire empty box.  Be gentle with yourself.  Welcome to humanity.  We aren’t perfect.  Stop the wheel before it gets spinning too fast.  Focus on progress not perfection.
