On August 8, National Fuel will begin a main line modernization and infrastructure improvement project at the intersection of Peach and West 38th Streets that will replace 470 feet of pipeline. Gas service will not be impacted during the project.
The pipeline replacement, scheduled for completion within the month, will impact traffic as well as cause road closures in two separate phases. Specifically, it is anticipated that from Aug. 9-12, an area on Peach St. will be closed with a reroute on Liberty Street followed by a closure on West 38th Street from Aug. 22 to Aug. 24 with a re route on Liberty Street. Intermittent lane restrictions can also be expected.
