Voltaire once said, “I have chosen to be happy because it is good for my health.” Just like fitness and dieting helps for a healthy lifestyle, so does happiness. Happiness and mindfulness are crucial for a person’s health.
Choose happiness, find something that makes you happy and stick to it. De-stress in your workouts, do things you love and not things you don’t. Someone once told me, your attitude is the only thing you have complete control over. So why not choose to be happy or positive? It will make your life and everyone’s around you better and easier.
So get out of the house, stop into the Y and find that class or workout routine that is a catalyst to your happiness and helps you distress while having fun.
