5Happy hump day fellow fitness seekers! We all know spaghetti is a great comfort food during the cold weather. We also know that the extra carbs that come with it are not ideal. As I said in my last post I love squash so I only found it appropriate to talk about squash some more!

I love to substitute my spaghetti noodles with spaghetti squash. The squash is simple to make and so much healthier than regular noodles. Baking it is quiet simple. All you need to do is cut the squash in half and scrap out the insides. Drizzle the inside with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper on each half. Set the squash on a baking pan and set into an oven pre heated to 450 F. Cook the squash for about 35-45 minutes. (Depending on the size)

So next time you are craving the classic Italian dish everyone loves, try it with squash. It tastes amazing and is figure friendly!

Happy Wednesday, be well!
