Swimmers take part in a 100-yard swim at Edinboro University’s McComb Field House Pool. Uniform depth pool allows for swimmers of all abilities to take part. Swimmers may complete the event using any combination of strokes. Swimmers may begin in the water, on deck or from the diving block. Learn more here.
Interested in just swimming the QUAD, but don’t want to participate in the other events? You are more than welcome to join us as a competitor for the QUAD and pay the day – of participation fee of $35.
Cash prizes will be awarded for top finishers in the Swim event. And, we’ll name the Fastest in Erie County with some one-of-a-kind swaag! Elite heat begins right at 9 a.m.
Children 12 and under may participate in the adult distances or in the Highmark QUAD Kids, sponsored by Wegmans. The QUAD Kids takes place after the adult swim and kids choose either 25 or 50 yard swim – all kids get a medal at the end.
Free babysitting is available while parents take part in the swim event with an RSVP to email@example.com.

Training Clinics – Join experienced swimmers for training clinics at the Glenwood Park Y on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. March 24, April 7, 14, 21 from 8-9 a.m. Cost $20/series/Y members. $35/series/non-members. Registration is required at 868-0867. Training clinics are also held at the Downtown Y on Sundays at 2:30 beginning February 25. Cost is $20/series Y members/$35/series/non-members. Registration is required at 452-3261. Training clinics will also be held at Edinboro University on Sunday, March 25 and Sunday, April 1. FREE. No registration is required.
