Calling all cross-country ski and snowshoe enthusiasts! Set a goal for yourself to participate in the Highmark QUAD Games’ 5-mile cross-country ski or 2.5-mile snowshoe at picturesque Wilderness Lodge. Their 20+ miles of established cross-country trails are beautifully woven among the wooded grounds making their trails more resistant to the changes in weather and temperature.
You’ll participate alongside others just like you seeking fresh air and a challenge. Need support shaping up? Check out the Y’s Shape-Up Class will be just the support you need to cross the finish line with pride! These shape-up sessions are perfect for all current fitness levels. Get a cardio boost through a variety of aerobic exercises designed to condition your body for this outdoor exercise.

Bring the kiddos to participate in the Highmark Kid QUAD Ski sponsored by Wegmans. Kids 12 and under ski or snowshoe either a ½ mile or 1-mile course. All kids get a t-shirt and a medal for their efforts.

Exercising muscles around the core, CXWORX provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favorite sports – it’s the glue that holds everything together.
All the moves in CXWORX have options, so it’s challenging but achievable for your own level of fitness. During the 30-minute workout you use resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches, and hovers to strengthen and tone your abdominals, hips, butt and lower back.
