We offer two options for weight training for women.
Women and Strength Training at the County Y teaches proper use of the free weights and machines to achieve balanced muscle development. Increases metabolism to burn fat. Free to Y members only.
Women and Weights at the Eastside Family Y is weight training class for women, led by women. 7 week class takes place in the free weight room and promises an individualized strength training plan and the confidence to continue on your own. Cost for Y members: $20/ $40-non-members
