FITNESS FIRST

Explore group exercise and fitness classes for all levels, from bootcamp, mobility, strength, cycle, dance fitness and circuits.

 

30-20-10:  This class includes intense cardio, muscle toning and ab training for a total body workout! (75 min.) ALL LEVELS

BARRE:  A blend of Pilates, ballet, yoga and strength training to give you a full body toning workout. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

BELLS & BARRE:  Tone and strengthen your whole body by combining a Kettlebell and Barre class in one!  ALL LEVELS

BODY BLITZ (formerly Y-Pump):  Body Blitz includes a range of exercise techniques and equipment to give you a full body functional strength workout. (45 min) ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

BOOTCAMP:  Every class is a different challenge that combines strength conditioning and cardio incorporating a variety of equipment. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

BOXING:  High-energy martial arts-inspired workout.  Come punch and kick your way into fitness. Options will be shown for all fitness levels. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

CARDIO DANCE:  A cardio dance class with choreography to get your heart pumping! See why dancing is a fun way to get and stay in shape. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

CIRCL MOBILITY: This class focuses on flexibility, breathwork, and mobility exercises using a combination of traditional stretching with dynamic movements and flow.  CIRCL focuses on actively taking your body through movement patterns using macro and micro joint movers to improve range of motion + flexibility. ALL LEVELS

CIRCUIT:  Get ready for circuit training and improve your cardio, strength and energy. The circuits focus on muscular endurance.  You got this! ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

CORE CONDITIONING: A core workout that tightens and tones your body and improves your core strength.  ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360 

CORE & MORE:  Work the muscles of your core, as well as the larger supporting systems.  Feel stronger and more centered with this work. (30-45 min) ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

CYCLE:  Featuring endurance training and interval challenges, these Y rides are for all bikes and fitness levels.  This class will focus on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

FAMILY BOOTCAMP: Work out as a family while having fun!  A bootcamp class for parents and kids to “play” together while exercising!  Kids must be at least 5 years old.  ALL LEVELS

FIERCE:  A tabata based interval workout that will push you to your limits…it’s FIERCE fun!  You will see results from this interval training, fuctional resistance and core exercises. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

FOAM ROLLING:  Learn how to foam roll before or after workouts to help relieve muscle tightness and inflammation, and increase your joing range of motion. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360.

HIGH FITNESS (Dance):  High Fitness is an old school aerobics workout with a fun modern spin!  This no equipment workout class will be the best 1-hour dance party you’ve ever had.  Come try the class to see what it’s all about! ALL LEVELS

HIIT:  High Intensity Interval Training uses timed periods of work and rest to maximize your fitness benefits. (30-45 min) ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

KETTLEBELLS:  Join the craze as you squat, lift, lunge and push your way through this head-to-toe routine. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

LATIN STYLE DANCE: Is the perfect combination of dance and fitness, while keeping the unique flair of latin Dance styles.  With influences of samba, salsa, bachata, mambo and merengue, we’ll make you sweat from beginning to end. ALL LEVELS 

LINE DANCE:  A “No partner required” low impact dance class.  This class is a continuous set of choreographed routines that keep moving using your brain and body. (45 min.) ALL LEVELS

METABOLIC FIT:  A goal oriented program for people seeking a lean, fit body using the Queenex system.  This HIIT class focuses on high caloric expenditure and lean body mass development through intense workouts followed by rest periods. (45 min.) ALL LEVELS

MUSCLE PUMP:  Work every major muscle group with a bar and weighted plates in this strength training class.  ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360  

POUND®:  A cardio Jam Session using lightly weighted drumsticks to become part of the music!  A full body workout with modifications for everybody! (45 min.) ALL LEVELS – NOT BEING OFFERED AT THIS TIME.

QUEENAX CIRCUIT:  A bootcamp inspired class utilzing the Queenax equipment for portions of the workout giving you a total cardio and strength experience. (45 min.) ALL LEVELS

SOULstrength:  Is a creative blend of rhythmic resistance, cardio conditioning, manageable mobility and core strength exercises all set to crazy FUN music.  SOULstrength is the total package. Let’s HIIT the beat with this SOUL LIFTing experience. ALL LEVELS

STEP:  A fast paced choreographed cardio class that will challenge both your physical and mental fitness, all while having fun! ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

STRENGTH TRAINING:  It’s time to get strong with these classes designed to enhance your muscular strength and fitness.  This is a full body strength workout. (45 min) ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

STRENGTH TRAINING +:  This class is a great combination of strength training and cardio.  You will use resistance exercises that contract your muscles in order to build muscle, and finish with cardio that builds endurance as it strengthens your body’s circulatory system. (45 min.) ALL LEVELS

SUNRISE STRETCH – This class will work on relaxation and stretch to release tension from muscles, joints, ligaments, and tendons. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360.

TRX:  A Total Body Resistance Exercise, is a revolutionary workout method that uses your body weigh and gravity as resistance to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability. ALL LEVELS

TURBO KICK:  Is an interval based, full body workout that begins with a sport-specific warm-up, then follows with fast-paced easy to follow kickboxing combinations. ALL LEVELS

Y BOX:  A total-body workout ranging from stretches and punches to kicking and footwork. ALL LEVELS – Also offered on YMCA360

ZUMBA®:  A Dynamic and energetic cardio class combining dance with fitness, adding Latin flavor and international zest into the mix. No dance experience necessary. Ditch the workout and join the party! ALL LEVELS

ZUMBA® STEP:  Zumba Step increases cardio and calorie burning, while adding moves that define and sculpt your core and legs. ALL LEVELS
