Summer Parks & Recreation

Offered in partnership with the City of Erie, the YMCA staff is dedicated to providing a nurturing and safe environment where children can thrive during the summer months. The program aims to create lasting memories and positive experiences for kids while fostering connections with supportive adults.

Located in 9 City of Erie parks, children have the opportunity to engage in a variety of recreational activities. From classic playground games and group sports that inspire laughter and camaraderie to enriching arts and crafts sessions and nature explorations that spark creativity, there’s something for every child to enjoy. A free summer lunch is also served.

With a focus on fun, learning, and community, the Summer Parks & Recreation program offers children a fulfilling and enriching experience they’ll cherish for years to come. Join us as we create lasting memories and build brighter futures for the youth of our city.
