Page Turners Book Club
Engage with Others and Exercise Your Mind.
Share your passion for reading at the Y’s Page Turners Book Club by participating in fun and lively discussions of the groups selected book. There MAY be copies of the books that will be discussed at the Welcome Center Desk, BUT THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE. Books are also available at the library, and for purchase on Amazon.

Philharmonic Concert/Bus Trip
Get your tickets today for the final Philharmonic Pops performance of the 2022/2023 season! Meet up at Eastside Y to board the bus at 2:00 to head to the Warner Theater for the matinee (3 pm) performance of:
Cirque at the Symphony with Troupe Vertigo

We conclude our 2022-23 Pops season with Troupe Vertigo, a group of expert circus performers who have collaborated with numerous national and international symphonies. Troupe Vertigo will bring a custom, ensemble-based show where the high caliber cirque acts are woven together seamlessly with each unique musical selection. This will be an evening of stunning physical feats choreographed into works of art. Imagine strongmen, aerialists, tightrope walkers and acrobats all performing on the Warner Stage directly in front of the Philharmonic in a night destined to astound and amaze audiences of all ages.
Tickets are limited, so be sure to sign up while you can! Pricing varies depending on seat type. It is highly unlikely all tickets will be together as a group. Please indicate who you’d like to be seated with, and we will do our best to seat people friends close to each other. There will be limited availability due to the popularity of this concert.

The Y Walkers
Walking can often be a solitary athletic pursuit, but at the Y, you can join those of us who want to enjoy the conversation, motivation, and encouragement of others. You can even train for events as a team! So lace up your sneakers and hit the trails together.
Non-members are welcome (registration with photo ID required).
We’ll be walking indoors in inclement weather, and outside the Y when weather permits. Those who join will receive notification about Saturday morning walks around the area, and team walks like Highmark Walk For A Healthy
Walkers of all fitness levels are welcome!
Mondays 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm, meet at Eastside Y.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 am – 9:00 am, meet at Eastside Y.
Saturdays twice a month – date, time, and location will vary. Registered participants will be notified by email.

Weekend Ping Pong
People of all ages love ping pong. So whether you’re a couple pickleballers without a court, or a parent looking for some family fun for all ages, come on in to Eastside Y Friday on the weekend (Friday evening through Sunday afternoon) and ask the front desk for some table time. Tables and nets are set up, paddles and balls are available so no need to bring your own.
Check with staff for availability. 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Y Men's & Women's Club
Connect with others in our community at weekly Lunch & Learn sessions. We host an eclectic range of community leaders, authors, artists, service agencies, government officials and more on relevant topics to our community and the world around us.
Lunch is served for a fee ( a limited menu is available), followed by the guest speaker.
The Y Men’s & Women’s Club has been meeting for more than 90 years. Come and join this vibrant discussion and enjoy the fellowship of new friends. YMCA membership is not required to attend Y Men’s & Women’s Club.
Lunch & Learn is held at 12 p.m. at the Shrine Club, 2525 West 38th Street.
