Special Events
The YMCA offers a variety of special events for adults, kids and families. We welcome all people to join us!
Seawolves at UPMC Park
RAIN DATE FOR SEAWOLVES GAME IS AUGUST 6!
If you already had tickets, sit tight – we’ll get you updated tickets and food vouchers for August 6.
If you had tickets but can’t make it on August 6, please let us know by July 20 for a refund. After that date, you are responsible to find someone to buy your ticket from you.
If you missed out on getting a ticket, now’s your chance! Tickets (with bus ride and food vouchers) may be purchased by August 1st.
Bus leaves the Y at 12pm. Board the bus to return to the Y after conclusion of the game, or at 3pm, whichever occurs first (to accommodate bus driver schedules).
Already have your ticket? Members can hitch a ride on the Y bus for $5, non-members $7.

Senior Fun Day
Why should kids have all the fun of Summer Camp? Join us for Senior Fun Day at Camp Sherwin!
Enjoy a day of activities, hang around in the pool, or take a nature walk – the day is yours! Board the bus at Glenwood Y or Eastside Y, or meet us at Camp Sherwin for classes, lunch, and more. There will be crafts, fishing, and nature walks, or you can choose to take a class or two (or all of them!).
WHEN: Wednesday, August 20th from 10am to 3pm.
WHERE: Camp Sherwin
A full schedule of activities will be posted upon finalization of instructors and vendors.
This is a FREE Members Only event.
Registration is required, whether you ride the bus or use your own transportation. Please register for the location at which you’ll be catching the bus.

Y U Steppin'
Join Eastside Y Fitness Staff to help raise money towards the annual campaign in a fun and energetic way with Y U Steppin’! 90-minutes of fun to dance and move your way to 10,000 steps. Whether you are sitting or standing Y U Steppin’ is designed to energize and keep you moving to fun tunes. Do not forget to wear your smart watch, pedometer or fitness tracking device to track your steps! Person with the most steps at the end of the event will select Y swag of their choice!
Registration fees help make a meaningful impact on individuals in Chronic Disease Prevention Programs, Swim Lessons and/or After School programs by providing access to programs at free or reduced cost.
