Certification Courses

Our ASHI approved Training Centers offer a range of courses in first aid, CPR, AED, and emergency oxygen administration for the community, the workplace, healthcare providers, child care providers, teachers, and EMS professionals; all trainings are conducted by authorized ASHI instructors.

A written and practical evaluation must be completed to earn certification. All students must perform required skills competently without assistance.

All certifications are good for 2 years (non-aquatics personnel).

CERTIFICATION COURSE INFORMATION

This training program through the American Safety and Health Institute for Basic Life Support (BLS) is intended to assist healthcare provider, including professional rescuers, in learning or refining BLS skills for patients of all ages. These critical, potentially life-saving skills include performing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillation (AED) as a single provider and part of a team. BLS also includes knowing how to relieve foreign body airway obstruction. You can add on First Aid (FA) and Emergency Oxygen (optional for non-YMCA employees).

Blended or Live class options available.
