Join the Glenwood Residential and Recreational Region (GRRR) for a day chock full of creative, healthy fun, and recreational activities on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

This self-guided event will have you weaving your way through activities.  This event is hosted by Glenwood’s recreational destinations. Plus, we’ll team up with community organizations for even more fun!

Healthy Kids Day is free and open to the public. Wear comfortable clothes and dress for the weather.  Please note that this event will only be held weather permitting.

Join Rep. Bob Merski and his family at 10:15 a.m. at 38th & Shunpike for a 1.5-mile family walk through the neighborhood; then stop by the information table at Glenwood Park for a trash bag and gloves to help us clean up the park!

Glenwood Participating Partners: Erie Federal Credit Union, Erie Zoo, Flo Fabrizio Ice Center, Glenwood Park, Glenwood YMCA, JMC Golf Course, and South Central Fire Station.

Visit the Erie County Library’s activity station in Glenwood Park to tour the bookmobile, check out materials and receive a free children’s book from Friends of the Erie County Library while supplies last! Attendees can sign up for a library card with proof of address, read more and register in advance at:

Erie Zoo members enjoy free admission to the Zoo for Healthy Kids Day. Non-members, thanks to the Erie Federal Credit Union, enjoy 50% off admission -adults (13 years +) $5, Seniors (62 years +) $4, and children (2-12) $3. Under 23 months is always free.
