Football
Our football programs provide athletes of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. From introductory skill-building clinics to leagues and specialized camps, participants develop fundamental offensive and defensive skills such as passing, catching, route running, and defensive positioning while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Whether trying football for the first time or continuing to advance their game, our programs focus on player development, positive competition, and a love for the sport.
Summer 2026 NFL Flag Youth Football League: Ages 5-10
The NFL Flag Football program gives everyone a chance to feel like an NFL player while having fun. Each player receives an authentic NFL Flag Jersey (for game use and to keep after season) and an official NFL Flag flag belt.
THIS LEAGUE RUNS ON SATURDAYS ONLY!
- Eastside/Glenwood Y League
- ESY: practice and play majority of games on fields behind building
- GLY: practice and play majority of games on fields at Grover Cleveland Elementary School
- both branches’ teams play a few weeks of games at the other branch’s home location against their division’s teams
- PLEASE NOTE: If registration numbers are low, league will take place solely at the Eastside branch.
Season Format
League Dates
June 6th – August 1st
Divisions: 5-7 Year Olds & 8-10 Year Olds
- 2, 60-minute practices (6/6 and 6/13)
- 2 weeks of mini-practice followed by a shortened game (6/20 & 6/27)
- Remaining Weeks – Full Length Games (7/11 – 8/1)
NO GAMES JULY 4th
Financial Assistance is Available! Apply here.
NOTE: No external refunds will be issued for sports leagues/programs – any refund issued will be as a credit towards future YMCA programs. Refunds will not be issued once practices start. Refund requests must be made, in writing, at least one week prior to the start of the season.
