Cheerleading

Cheerleading is a team activity that involves rooting for a team or performing a routine in a competition. Cheerleaders may perform routines that include: chanting slogans, dancing, stunting, and acrobatics.

Cheerleading can be performed to: 

  • Motivate teams/people
  • Entertain audiences
  • Create a sense of pride
  • Elevate spirit
  • Unify the crowd

Some skills that cheerleaders develop include: 

  • Athleticism with dancing

School Age Cheer Clinic: Ages 8-12

Participants will learn how to work as a team on basic cheer moves, chant and sideline cheers as well as a dance.  All levels welcome.  They should wear shorts,  sneakers, tee or tank, hair pulled back away from their face, water bottle.

Ages: 8-12yr.
