Program Director, YMCA Kids Club

The YMCA of Greater Erie has an immediate opening for a full time program director overseeing the Y’s Kids Clubs located with Erie Public Housing neighborhoods.  This position requires experience working in social service, recreation management or physical education as well as a minimum of 3 years supervising staff.  Download position description here.  Resume accepted through Sept. 20.

Early Education and School-Age Positions

Bring your talents and energy to the YMCA of Greater Erie team. Do you have experience working with children and engaging parents?  If so, the Y has several positions open in our Early Education and School-Age Classrooms. We are currently hiring Pre-K Counts Lead and Assistant Teachers, After School Staff, Early Education and School-Age Enrichment Center Directors and Assistant Directors as well as Infant/Toddler teachers. Full time and part-time positions available. Early Childhood Education Degree required for Pre-K Counts Lead Teacher and Early Childhood Education or related field with 2500 hours working with children for Director positions.  All positions require experience working with children. Aquatics Coordinator

In addition to lifeguarding and instructing aquatic classes the Aquatics Coordinator assists in the day-to-day operations of the aquatics department by assisting in developing, organizing, and implementing high quality YMCA aquatic programs. Lifeguards/Aquatic Instruction

The Y is seeking certified lifeguards to fill daytime and evening hours.  If you have additional aquatic experience, you may consider applying for open aquatic instruction for youth and adults. Head Swim Team Coach

The County Y Swim Team is looking for a qualified and passionate individual to fill the role of Head Coach.  Successful applicants will have coaching experience that demonstrates successful program development and management, character-driven leadership, excellent communication skills, and a personal commitment to the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.  The Head Coach will be responsible for developing and supervising practices for all levels of swimmers; hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring assistant coaches; and working closely with the parent committee on tasks such as recruiting and managing meet volunteers.  Email resume to Zach Miller zmiller@ymcaerie.org

The Eastside YMCA and County Y Swim Teams are looking for qualified and passionate individuals to fill the role of Assistant Coach.
