Building Trades Profession

Looking for work in the building trades profession?  The Y can help.  If you are minority and would like a profession  as a bricklayer, carpenter, cement mason, electrician, glazier, iron worker, laborers, operating engineer, painters, plumbers & steamfitters, roofers or sheet metal workers, then contact Serge Augustin at 814-314-9891 or email saugustin@ymcaerie.org for more information.  Our program includes free training and job placement as well as sustainable wages.

Lifeguards/Aquatic Instruction

The Y is seeking certified lifeguards to fill daytime and evening hours.  If you have additional aquatic experience, you may consider applying for open aquatic instruction for youth and adults. We are currently  hiring for indoor and outdoor pools.

The Eastside Family Y and our program site at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Lawrence Park are hiring an Assistant Group Supervisor for the School-Age Enrichment program.
