The YMCA of Greater Erie belongs to the community. We are a volunteer-led organization with a mission of putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We believe in providing membership and program services to all who desire to participate. Through the YMCA’s Open Doors program, financial assistance is provided, based on available resources, to those in need.

The Open Doors Program provides income-based rates to enable their participation in YMCA of Greater Erie membership and program activities. This new rate structure bases your membership fee on your annual household income. Rates can be attained for all the YMCA of Greater Erie branches or just your local branch.
