YMCA Swim Team
Every kid has swimming abilities – there’s a little Olympian Swimmer in each of them. Help yours find their swimming potential through YMCA Swim Team! Swimmers of all ages and abilities participate in our Swim Teams. Led by caring coaches, we emphasize individual improvement through stroke technique and practice, a strong work ethic and team work through competitive swimming. Swimmers compete locally with the opportunity to advance to the district, state and national level. Competitive Swim Team programs are offered at the County and Eastside Family Ys.

Cost for the Fall/Winter Swim League: First Swimmer $275, additional siblings $245, Highschool Swimmer and Meadville Satellite Team Members $150.

Eastside Narwhals 2025-26 Season Registration; Multiple Swimmer Payment Plan
Two or More Swimmers from the Same Household Registration – Pay over time option – $275.00 total charge for each swimmer.
$95.00 due upon registration; $45.00 automatic withdrawal on the 30th of each month (October-January).
Practices are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays; Times TBA Start time based on Skill Group assignment.
Membership must be active and payment method must be on file.

ESY Narwhals - New Swimmer Tryouts and Pre-Season Practice
Experience Swim Team!
Join us one, two, or all three days to see if swim team is right for you! Practices will be held at the Harbor Creek High School Pool
New Swim Team Participants must be able to:
- Jump into the deep end of the pool, submerge, and return to the surface unassisted
- Tread water 1-minute with a good body position, head and ears above the water
- Float on back 30-seconds
Swimmers, 8 and under, must be able to swim one length (25 yards) freestyle and one length (25 yards) backstroke without any assistance and without stopping.
Swimmers, 9 and up, must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke without any assistance and without stopping.
All swimmers must have a YMCA of Greater Erie Membership in order to register for the ESY Narwhals Swim Team; this is a National YMCA requirement.
Join us Thursday, September 25, at 6pm for a parent meeting at the Eastside YMCA! All are welcome!
